空姐英文

空姐的英文最常見的說法是 flight attendant，指的是在飛機上為乘客提供服務的人員。Flight 是指飛行，attendant 是指服務員。

空姐的英文也可以翻譯為 air hostess 或 stewardess，但這兩種說法比較老舊，現在已經不太常用，這兩個字是同義詞，指的是在飛機上為乘客提供服務的人員，Steward 是指男服務員，stewardess 是指女服務員。

Stewardess 一詞最早出現在 19 世紀，當時女性在航空業中還很少見。隨著女性在航空業中地位的提高，stewardess 一詞逐漸被 flight attendant 所取代，雖然 Stewardess 一詞在現代英語中仍然使用，但在正式場合中不太常用。
